キープレイヤーズ・ミーティング　Key Players Meeting

はじめに

2008年9月に開催を予定している長野インバウンド・サミットは、これまでに松本市、長野市、そして白馬村にてコア・ミーティングを行い、県内の各地域におけるインバウンドの現状や問題点、ソリューション、アイデアなどを共有してきました。このコア・ミーティングには、宿泊施設をはじめ、観光ガイド、ボランティア団体、行政書士、そして商工会や行政の担当者の方まで、幅広い職種の方々にご参加いただき、垣根を越えたディスカッションを行いました。「外国人観光客は行動範囲が広いため、広域的な情報が必要であること」や「北アルプスに韓国人登山客が急増していること」、「日帰りでスノーモンキーを観に来る外国人観光客の増加」、「外国人観光客が急増している白馬では、予想とは裏腹に外国語のサインが少ない」など、お互いが他の地域の方達と情報交換をしてきました。
そして、いよいよ9月のサミットへ向け、長野県内のキープレイヤー達が動き出します！

BACKGROUND

In preparation for the Nagano Inbound Summit scheduled for September, 3 core meetings (Matsumoto, Nagano City, Hakuba) have been held to discuss the current 'Inbound' situation including ideas and problems and possible solutions. Participants are not only hotels and inns, but Guides, Volunteer Groups, a Lawyer, Chambers of Commerce, and Government officials. Thanks to the wide variety of participants, we have had very useful exchanges of information and viewpoints. Some examples of the insights that have surfaced are: 'The areas that foreign tourists travel to are far-reaching: a far-reaching response is needed.' 'There has been a huge increase in the numbers of Koreans coming to the Northern Alps for trekking.' 'The snow monkeys of Jigokudani are a major draw for Inbound daytrippers.' 'Even though the media is hyping the invasion of Australian skiiers to Hakuba, the town still sorely lacks in English signage.' etc. It has been eye-opening and myth-busting information sharing for all. The next step towards the September Summit is to organize the Key Players.
